Pricing and payments
Q: Do you require payment prior to making my order?
A: Yes.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: Using the shopping cart, you can pay using any major credit card or PayPal. Cheques are also accepted but must be cleared prior to starting your order. Please contact me to place your order if paying by cheque. Cash is accepted for orders that are picked up locally (Windsor, Ontario). See Shipping (below) for details on placing orders that will be picked up locally.
Q: I live in the Windsor area. How can I make a cash payment?
A: The payment can be dropped off at Yennybee’s location in an envelope marked with your name and phone number. When placing your order, the necessary information will be provided to you. Local orders can also be placed through the shopping cart. See Shipping (below) for details on placing orders that will be picked up locally.

Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: No. I only ship within Canada.
Q: How much does shipping cost?
A: Shipping costs vary based on the value of items ordered and your shipping location.

Q: How soon can I receive my order?
A: If the item(s) are available in inventory, your order will be processed within 2 business days. However, most items (and obviously custom items) are made as they are ordered. Typically, orders take 1-2 weeks to make (depending on the size and complexity of the order). This time may be longer starting in December 2011 due to the expected arrival of a new baby. Shipping time varies depending on your location, but typically about 5-10 business days. If you need a rush order, please contact me to see if we can work something out.
Q: I live in the Windsor area. Can I pick up my order to save on shipping costs?
A: Yes.
- IF PAYING BY CASH or CHEQUE, contact me with your order and the necessary information for payment will be provided to you for making payment and picking up your order.
- IF PAYING BY CREDIT CARD or PAYPAL, place your order online using the shopping cart. In the shopping cart, there is a drop-down for calculating shipping cost. Select "Local pick-up (Windsor, ON)". When your order is ready, I will contact you to arrange a pick up time and provide you with the location.
Embroidery
Q: I want a font embroidered but I don’t see it on your website. Can you embroider it?
A: More than likely, yes. Most standard fonts can be requested. Please inquire if you are interested in a font that isn’t included in the product pictures.
Q: I want an image embroidered but I don’t see it on your website. Can you embroider it?
A: Again, more than likely, yes. Yennybee can design images for you or base them on your own images. “Clip art”-style images work best. Images that are protected by copyright will not be embroidered.
Gift registry
Q: How do I set up a gift registry?
A: It's pretty easy. From the gift registry page, go to Set Up Your Own Registry. Fill out information about you, the baby and the event date (if applicable). If you would like your gifts shipped directly to your house, you can include your contact information. Alternatively, the gifts will be mailed to the purchaser.
Q: I am setting up my gift registry. What does "Registry Type" mean?
A: The registry can be made public or kept private. Here are the implications:

Q: Now that I set up my registry, how do I share it with friends and family?
A: At the bottom of your registry page, select "View Link". This will provide you with a URL that you can email to specific people or include in your invitations. Also, if you selected a "Public" registry type, they can easily look up your name to locate your registry.
Q: I know my friend is registered with Yennybee? Why can't I find the name?
A: When your friend set up their registry, they likely chose to keep their registry "private" to prevent the general public from accessing their information (e.g. address, baby name, etc.). Your friend would have received a link that they can send you to access their personal registry. Please contact your friend for this link.

Q: Where can I see Yennybee Baby Designs in person?
A: Yennybee Baby Designs is a home-based business. If you are in the Windsor, Ontario area, you are welcome to contact me and schedule an appointment to view Yennybee Baby Designs in person. Also, Yennybee Baby Designs are periodically available at various craft shows and other events. Join the mailing list to receive notifications of these events, join the Facebook group “Yennybee Baby Designs”, and/or check the website often. |
